mm651 not fitting

mm651 not fitting
Hi I have hog tunes tour pods. The polk mm651 are not fitting right in. Do I have to trim the pods to make them bigger or do I force the speaker in place.

I had to enlarge the hole on my Hog Tunes tour pods to accommodate my 6.5 speakers. I used a dremel tool to enlarge the hole.
