nope. just had a long conversation with the national rep for Polk Audio and voiced my concerns that Crutchfield for 1 shows the speakers as being discontinued and Sonic Electronix never seems to have them in stock any more.

The facts are;
Crutchfield has either dropped or had the PA line pulled (I couldn't get a straight answer there but got the distinct impression they were pulled from Crutchfield) so they simply show the speakers as discontinued.

Sonic Electronix has an ETA of arrival on new stock of 4-1-2013.


Anyway.. Just FYI as I've see questions being asked about it.

Is there anywhere else you recommend to purchase the MM651 speakers? I am now ready for the next step in my install and that is the speakers. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

 

I get all my stuff from Amazon. Usually have really good and comparable pricing and you have the manufacturer as well as Amazon to back up the sale.

Be forewarned.. Bought mine through Amazon, 3 Kings Audio, Right woofer quit on me last fall. Thought it was the amp so I ordered a new one like a dumbass without testing..

New RF PBR 300x2. It's the woofer, not the amp. Anyone want a 300x4? No warranty on polks through most of the online retailers.

 

300x2 or 300x4?

 

Keeping the 300x2. Going with components in the lower gauges this time I think. Just need to set a price limit so I don't blow what a good down payment on a 21" wheel!

 

that 300x4 is nowhere near capable of driving those Polk MM651 speakers SDVmnt. It will distort and destroy a speaker LONG before power will. The 300x2 is a great little amp, the 300x4 is a POS IMO.
