Just wondering if all sony head units use the same wiring harness? Reason I am asking is the Sony DSX-S210X is onsale . I would be replacing a sony xplode unit. Thinking it would be a real eazy swap it I could unplug from my currrent unit and plug right into the new one

 

Yes...I just swapped an older Sony HU for the 310 model and the wiring harness was the same.

 

correct. Sony, Alpine, and Kenwood to my knowledge are the very few that have stuck with the same plugs over the years.

Just wanted to let you all know that sony is switching there connectors on 2013 models. Called biketronics and they asked me If I wanted the small sony connector are the large connector.
