in the lowers or the rear pods? I have the HD grills on my polks in the rear pods and they fit perfectly. The lowers from what I'm reading might be a different story. I think I read somewhere that harleypingman had an issue with grills and he wound up using Focal grills or maybe is was Glacierpearl.

do us a favor please and take pics of the lowers as you're installing with closeups so everyone else can benefit from your installation. If you don't know how to post them you can email them and I'll post them for you.. ultranutz@outlook.com

Ok - I already have the lowers installed with a nice biketronics speaker in them that fit great...only issue is the 4ohm. I can take some shots of the infinity or polk when they arrive. What are you wanting pics of? Pics of how the HD grills work with the speakers and pods?

1.) when you pull the biketronics out, take a pic of the hole
2.) when you're putting the new one's in, take a couple of pics while you're putting them in.
3.) after you're done, some closeups of how the grills interact with the pods.

also make sure before you put your new speakers in, that you line the inside of the pod with polyfil about 1" thick.. this will help your bass tremendously.

much appreciated sir.

Subscribed! I hope the HD's cover the Polks. (Runnin' mine naked at the moment...)

Ultra ain't "just jokin'" about the poly fill either... held it behind a speaker in the uppers. There's no doubt whatsoever... it makes a noticeable difference.

You got it....I'd be happy taking the pics and sharing.

Where do I get this Polyfil? And thanks for that tip. I appreciate the advice.

Can you see this pic? Just testing to see if my attachment is coming through.

That is a FACT SIR! I BE JAMMIN'! (Full report to come.)

BschloSS...

Surely you've got an old pillow (she won't miss.) Cut that case off of it and you've got enough for multiple installs. It's worth any trouble your gonna get into from the wife... trust me. I've tested with my own ears... it puts the "punch" in the bass. While your jammin' in the garage (sitting still,) you can actually feel it in the footboards!
Thanks for the HD grill pic... those are COVERING the Polks, correct?

Your gonna be thrilled.

Beav
