Anybody tried the Kicker PS 5250 speakers in their bike?, If so, were you satisfied?

havent tried them but I'll tell you man.. I wouldn't waste the time and money replacing stock 5.25" fairing speakers with 5.25" speakers.

What do you ride Wingman12?

in the fairing go 6.5" with the cycle sounds adapter rings.

For less than $200 you can have a nice setup and will sound a whole lot better than what 5.25" speakers can produce.

Have not heard those speakers or spoke to anyone that has them. Ultra is right buy some adapter rings and buy some 6.5 or 6.75 speakers. The difference is noticable. These fairing speakers struggle to produce bass as it is and the larger speaker will be a plus.

6.5 Titan II's from Biketronics would be a great speaker for your bike.

I ride a streetglide. Haven't looked at bigger speakers yet, do you think a amp would help out? Not wanting to dump a bunch of money in a stereo, but I also don't want to buy junk or something not much better than stock..

most certainly it would help. If you can afford to do it, I would go ahead and put an amp in there while you've got the fairing apart, something like the RF PBR300x2 to drive your fairing speakers would be a good choice with a pair of Polk MM651 speakers.

Polk Speakers - $136
RF PBR300x2 - $144
6.5" Speaker Adapters for fairing - $40
Misc Wire and fuse holder - $20

Total of $340 and you're into a good system that can be expanded upon later on if you want.

I have the Kicker PS 525's and the Kicker 100.2 amp and it sounds pretty good! Nice inexpensive setup!!!
