being that it's a 2010 model radio, you can get the boom audio iPod interface kit from HD. A little pricey but in my opinion worth it as iPod functions are controlled by the hand controls

 

Or you can save some money, have an easier install, and avoid the low audio out by buying the OTMT i-pod module.

Very true.. I've heard great things about the OTMT.. Only reason I went with the HD is points paid for it so figured, what the heck..

 

Update; VERY happy with radio. Plugged Ipod in and set space on dash for it. Can control with hand easily. I can't see why anyboy would give up the hand controls
