Unfortunately it will not. The wiring harness that connects to the back of the radio is not compatible. You may be able to find an aftermarket kit for a car stereo.

Yes, it will work.

The HK unit is backward compatable to 98 as long as the bike it's going into is not an Ultra. The 23 pin Main connector is identical.

The AVC will not work unless the unit is re-programmed. 04-05 can be re-programed in the radios sub menu. 98-03, the radio will need to be flashed. This is not neccessary for the unit to work.

What's AVC? The handle bar controls? I want them to work. The radio is a 2010. What will I have to do to get it to all work right on my bike? My bike is NOT a ultra it's just a FLHTC

AVC= Automatic Volume Control
Increases / decreases the volume based on speed of the bike

AVC is a must IMO. If not at every stop light you'll be turning it down while you wait, only to have to turn it back up when you get to speed. And it's adjustable as to how much you want it to increase.

Ok cool thanks. So with my radio being a 2010. Will it need to be reprogrammed or flashed?
