I have the J&M Rokker 250w amp and the Rokker 7.25 speakers in the fairing and they sound awesome. Even at 75mph I can hear them crystal clear. Also, if you ahve any problems with them, you just email or call them and they will take care of your issues. I had them for 8 months and the speakers would shut down every now and then. I emailed John (Pres of J&M), he told me to send them back and they would replace them. Not only did they replace the speakers but also the amp. J&M really does ROCK!

So, I've gone down a different route and have Infinity Kappas. So far I have 6.5" in the fairing and 5.25" in the rear powered by a Bazooka amp. It won't win any parking lot contests as there isn't much Bass but at speed (75+) it is very clear with more than enough volume. I am planning on adding another pair in the lowers as I bought the CVO speaker lowers and will probably upgrade the 5.25" to 6.5" so, I will probably go deaf with all that sound.

That sounds crappy, kind of like it is coming out of a laptop.

I am guessing he is saying that because he is using a laptop. I know that your system sounds good becasue I have a similiar system, but yeah when listening through a laptop they all sound like ****

Focal 165 CAI
Here's a few photos of my setup with Focal 165 CAI's. For the grills for the fairing speakers, I used tin-snips to trim them to a good size. For the grills for the lower fairings, all I had to do was remove the plastic ring that came on the speakers. It came off very easy. There was black sticky stuff inside the plastic rings. I just took that and placed it at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock on the grill and pressed it into place. So far so good...
