looking to by an amp for my 2008 ultra, is there any advantages or reason in by the tour pak mounted amp over the in-the-fairing mounted amp? any advice would be great! THANKS

 

you have the option to go bigger if desired

 

its simply a matter of preference really. the ARC, J&M, Hawgwired, etc. are all designed as a matter of convenience because they're able to be fitted within the confines of the batwing and RG fairings. Keps them out of sight and out of weather. I've heard the HD, hawgwired, arc, rockford, and J&M. my favorite is still the J&M. Just my biased opinion. :-) either way you go, they're all pretty much plug and play (some more plug and play than others)
