Default Radio Cut out any thoughts or help would be appreciated

Started having a problem on my Ultra i have a stock radio witht he HOG Tunes five for road upgrade. Several months ago my radio started to cut out, if I play with the speaker button on the dash it usally will come back on for a spell and the cuts out again. Had the fairing off and tried to figure it out it could get the radio to cut in and out by wiggling the harnase as well as appling pressure to the connection in the back of the radio but could not figure out the actual problem. Checked all the grounds as I thought that might be it but they appear to be connected tighly with out issues.

are you talking about the radio power (12v) cutting out or just the sound cutting out and the radio power (12v) stays on?

Just the sound to the speakers, radio still appears to have power. However when the fairing was off it appeared the 50 watt Hogtunes amp was losing power at times.

amp losing power at times as in when you jiggle the harnesses around it would lose power?

That tells me since you stated earlier that you checked ground connections that either the connection for the amp turn on wire or the main power source for the amp (they might be the same connection) connection is bad.

Ground the amp to the frame of the bike by the battery.
