Help with installing 6 speakers wiring!
Guys,
need a little help putting a 6 speaker system in my RG, 4 in the front and 2 in the rear bags.
all running off a 4 channel 300 amp.
What I was going to do is hook 2 off the front speakers to the HD harness then run the other 4 off the amp.
any advice would be great, oh yeah head unit is after market sony marine unit.
all speakers and 4ohms
cheers

Second, the highlighted parts of your post are contradictory: one says you'll run all 6 speakers off the amp; and, the second says you'll run 4 speakers from the amp.
In any case, you can split the outputs from the front and rear outputs of the head unit to create the six pairs of signals you want. For example, split the front signal outputs into two pairs with one pair going unamplified to a pair of front speakers, and the other going to the front input of the amp and from there to the other pair of the front speakers.
The rear signal output from the head unit goes to the rear inputs of the amp and from there to the rear speakers in the saddlebags.
If you plan to use the front or rear outputs of the amp to drive two pairs of speakers, you'll probably need to wire those speakers in series.
Good luck with your project.
