I have an 09 Street Glide. I made one for my right handle bar. I went to Home Depot and bought a small piece of galvanized (sp) metal. About 1" x 3". I primed it and painted it black to match my bike. I then drilled 4 holes in it. Two to go on top of the handle bar and 2 below. I used two small zip ties to strap it to the bar. I then bought black heavy duty velcro and cut it to fit this strip. The other small strip of velcro on the back of my iPod Nano. I ran a black aux wirre down the handle bar in back and up through the fariing from the forks. The aux wire stays plugged in to the aux stereo port.
I'm sorry I don't have a pic to post. You barely even notice this is on the bike. And with the Nano on the bike, you can't even see the mount. I don't worry about a power outlet for it becaue it'll play for something like 24 hours. I just charge it at night if on a trip.
I don't like alot of those big old gadgets that guys sell lie ram mounts etc. This you hardly notice and when the iPod is one the bike, it's invisible.
I can just use my right hand to switch songs.
I could send you pics if you're interested.
