Default As usual I bought a change over year bike again

I have an '05 road glide. Nice bike ,low miles, runs great. I want an Ultra but cannot afford the payments. so I must make one out of what I have. I need to find out if I can upgrade the stereo I have or do I purchase a late model HK head unit and upgrade from there. I think major difference, other than head unit is speaker ohms are different 8 vs. 2 on new units. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks folks!

I saw your post in the Touring section and replied there regarding your question about installing the HK w/CB, etc. in your bike.

A less expensive proposition is to buy a used Radio Sound head unit with CB. If it's not working, Radio Sound offers an exchange program. You can call them at 502.267.6768.

Unlike the HK system, the CB can't be added to an RS radio that didn't have it originally, so I don't think you can exchange your current RS unit w/o CB for one that has it using the RS exchange program.
