Default Adding a bit of bass question

I'm running an aftermarket fairing on my Dyna and I'm pretty happy with my system but am looking for a little more bass.

Fairing: http://recklessmotorcycles.com/index...uct_detail&p=8 I'm running the 4x5" speaker model

Head Unit: Fusion MS-IP500
Here's the manual http://www.jgtech.com/pdf/MS-CD500_M..._manual_V5.pdf

Speakers: http://dcgold.com/products/classic-line/n4c/ I'm only running two

I'm looking at adding these to give me more bass WITHOUT adding and amp: https://www.madisound.com/store/prod...oducts_id=8599

I'm also looking to do this on the super cheap, hence not adding the amp and better speakers. I plan on adding the woofers (cheap speakers) to Zone 2. The output on the HU is 70w per channel. Through the HU I can link Zones 1 and 2 together for volume control. I can also adjust max volume per zone as well as HPF an LPF frequencies.

My plan is to dedicate Zone 2 to the 5" woofers and adjust Max Volume, HPF and LPF accordingly to give me a bit more bass.

Finally my question, does this sound like it would work?

Hey Jimmy ---- 1st of all, I'm not a pro. Just a guy who wants great sound also, and in my opinion, bass ain't gonna happen on that bike. I have an EG Classic with a Woof Pak subwoofer from Hell's Foundry, in my tourpak (Look it up & take a look.) This thing is great. I sometimes have a little too much bass, but I have to admit, at 75 mph, with the wind blowing past you, you're not gonna hear anything like what you have in your car, with no breeze blowing by. I love this WoofPak. I'd get another one. I can hear bass at highway speeds, but it's nothing like curbside when the bike's parked. It works so well that I can feel it in the seat, which actually helps me "hear" more bass when I'm riding down the road. I have 6.5" Hertz Titan speakers in the fairing. They're my 3rd set. The guy who installed the Woof Pak (a guy who does exclusively bike stereos) recommended them, so I went with it. Sorry for the long & windy message, but I think you won't get a whole lot more bass without a subwoofer. I think the most bass you'll get out of a fairing will be from a good 7 1/4" speaker, or maybe a 6x9? Maybe somebody else here will chime in also. Just my 2 cents worth. Hope it helped a little.
Jim
