For whatever reason, HD says in the service parts list for this kit (p. 12, table 3, item 4) that the CVO speaker boxes are not available for separate sale. However, using the p/n's for the speaker boxes posted in this thread, you can, in fact, buy them--why HD doesn't provide the p/n's for the speaker boxes in this kit I have no idea--using the p/n's provided in this thread you can continue to buy them.

I finally got around to installing the Vibe Audio Litebox Stereo 4 amp last night, it didn't fit in the Road Glide faring without some minor modifications...but it's in and working like a CHAMP!
I wired the rear speaker inputs a little different than Harlypingman, I pulled the rear right and left +/- speaker wires out of the non-Ultra overlay harness (since I'll never be using them for a tour pack) and ran them to the rear inputs on the Vibe Audio amp... it was way easier than replacing pins in the connector.
I have the J&M 7.25 speakers in the fairing and Infinity Kappa 63.9i 6-1/2" speakers in the lowers... getting the front/ rear fader activated in the HK radio is key to this install!
I haven't had a chance to take it out for a ride yet (raining here for the last two days) but it's loud as ***** in the garage at half volume!
Harlypingman,
thanks for your pics and info on doing this project!
it made my install all that much easier!

I'm confused, how are you going to run the new speakers in series with the other four?
the other four speakers are each running to one channel of the PBR300x4.
