Coax or Mid bass for Tour Pack Pods?
I have a 2024 Street Glide and as we all know is hopeless on stock audio department. Just want to build very simple 4 speakers tour pack pods setup, not looking to build anything more because actually I have been extremely satisfied with my Iasus X3 in helmet speakers hooked up to my chatterbox via a Fiio mini amp, everything on my helmet with -30db earplugs, full sound quality *** kickin basstown even on sensible volume, doesn't get any better than that... I want to build a simple system because there are a few much younger members on my riding club and I got quite close with them, they are spending thousands (more than 5-7K) for full blown 6-8 speakers "distortion city" from HD or some other aftermarket which I need not to mention here and very unhappy. Just wanna show them what can be had for way less and the bonus of scratching my own itch...
I am not yet set on what amp to use, possibly Helix M Four DSP if it can fit on available space, still looking for a good built in DSP mini amp right now so I can hook it up to my stock RF amp while waiting for universal converter to be available on aftermarket. I am going with Cicada CXX65.2 for front but still undecided for rear, was thinking about using the same Cicada CXX65.2 or Cicada CM65.2X for the tour pack speakers. Can anyone advise me which speakers should I pick for the tour pack pods, coaxial or midbass only?

After some further considerations I actually starting to lean that way, separate components for upfront with RR075T horn tweeters and CM65.2X midbass running fully active and I think I will also go with CXX65.2 for the rear pods for that pro audio midbass loudness…Now I have to measure if I can fit 6ch DSP amp (Helix Psix DSP ultimate) into the fairing.
On the other note, I don’t think horn on pods will do much, I have been using high efficiency horns for years for my home audio and it is very very directional.

The CHX65 sound dam good in the tourpack pods on the 14 and up tourpack that is ported.
I have been running the CHX in that location since last year with approximately 400 watts to each and they keep on banging away.
