I am starting the upgrade project. Adding fairing lowers with speakers. Already have upgraded speakers in fairing and tour pack. My question is for those who have mounted a DSP in the space on the side of the radio where the WHIM is mounted too. Both pieces have enough room if I remove the mounting bracket for the WHIM. The problem is there really isn't any obvious places, to me a rookie installer, to zip tie or screw in these 2 pieces of electronic equipment.
Questions for those who have done this....
Did you make use of velcro? Did you use zip ties? Is it okay to have the WHIM module right next to the HK mini DSP? I could remove it but I risk getting error codes next time I power up the bike. The techno research alaris I have has a setting for WHIM but I don't know if that is how I uninstall the WHIM software.

You dont mention adding an amp. If so, where did you mount the amp. What speakers did you upgrade to? Why did you buy a DSP? What year and model of bike?
