Good find.

I went with the Soundstream for my 2005 Road Glide. Waterproof and not wireless, which to me is one less thing to worry about. My phone sits in the glove box, I run Waze and Sirius all day long no issues and the phone is always charging. Yeh it is $1000.00, but plug and play and she has survived all sorts of weather in the last 14 months with no problems. I can also see that the screen is larger, but maybe that is RG to SG.

 

Has anyone found a wireless CarPlay unit to replace the larger head unit? I have a 2014 Ultra and just want wireless CarPlay.

 

The new GTS head units can be ordered to fit your bike. I wonder if a wireless CarPlay adapter would work on it like the Android Auto ones do? I've got a bike with the GTS and just put the Motorola wireless AA adapter in the media cubby and just leave my phone in the tour pak. Everything in AA works just like it does plugged in.

I know it's an expensive option but I really like the GTS unit. I've got no desire to try anything else. I like being able to use wired headsets for voice commands on occasion as well.

 

I had a GTS in my '16 RGU, with an AutoSky wireless CarPlay adapter... worked great. Still using the AutoSky adapter on my 23 RGL.
