Sealed Connections for Installing Amps in Bags?
Looking to install a SD800.4 in bags and looking into installing Amphenol connectors. Running the amp bridged to a pair of GZ yellow basket neo's in lower fairings
Looking at using Ampenol connectors for a clean and sealed connection where the bags can easily be removed:
AHDP04-24-91PN-SRA mounted in the bag; https://www.digikey.com/en/products/...f5896a73517e5b
The mating connector AHDP06-24-91SN-SRA; https://www.digikey.com/en/products/...3d815caf66383b
These connectors have 2 x 8 gauge, 2 x 12 gauge and 5 x 16 gauge locations.
Plan to run power and ground into 8 gauge locations, 2 speakers and remote-turn-on into the 5 x 16 gauge locations and plugging the 12 gauge locations.
Concerned on the amount of depth and interference to the fender and/or rear tire, etc.
Anyone have any experience with or something similar like Deutsch??
Also plan to mount a panel/bulkhead 3.5mm plug into the bag for the RCA's (can run RCA to 3.5mm stereo cable), haven't been able to find a nice RCA bulkhead connection.

Thanks in advance!
