Default Volunteer Audio in TN - do not buy!

VOLUNTEER AUDIO DO NOT DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL. From the start this has been a horrible experience dealing with them. I spoke to Samantha on the phone, talked about my bike and build. I bought the radio ( SoundStream) and amplifier (Hertz 2000 watt) from them because they stated that they dyno tune the amplifier to the radio before shipping the amplifier. I bought a $300 harness because they stated that is what I needed. They shipped the radio with no issue, they did not set the amplifier with it being tuned and they sent me the complete wrong harness. They had to remake the harness and ship it out to me, they sent it 5 day mail when I paid extra for 2 day shipping. I was not able to use the harness after all due to my setup, I shipped it back on my dime. Asked to work with Jay to make me a harness to install in my saddlebag. Samantha gave me the run around for over a week saying she had to talk to Jay. They stop picking the phone up and she would only send text messages to me. Kept saying they would get back to me in an hour and week later nothing. They have not refunded me my money . After a week of this Jay just called me with nothing but attitude and complete disrespect in his voice! I DO NOT RECOMMED THEM , I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR WITH THEM! THEY ARE LIERS AND UNTIL THEY RETURN MY MONEY THEY ARE THIEVES! WORSE EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD DEALING IN THE MOTORCYCLE WORLD!!!!!

So if I understand right, you sent everything back and they have not refunded you or just the harness?

I sent back just the $300 harness and since I have posted online today they have now posted a pending amount on my card for the $299. I am waiting to see if it clear. This is just not a way to do business or how you handle a customer. I spent $2,000 with them and was planning to spend another $1,000 to complete my system.

Funny, as they blow up the FB groups like they own the world. I'll agree it sounds jacked up. Lot of guys seem to love 'em, but I'll hold judgement as I've never used them. I watch for the negative reviews more than the positive reviews because it seems like everyone just jumps on the bandwagon with suppliers and services without really looking into them. This guy says Shmeckleberger speakers and then 100 guys start saying the same. One thing I will say is I watched a lot of NVS video's and like what I see. As for the DSP comment, well, I guess I don't know squat, because I've seen/heard amazing systems with LOC's instead.

You do NOT need a DSP with every bike audio setup.

I guess I don’t know what I’m talking about.

Do you do any install of bike audio equipment?

And any bike can sound good on a video.
