Default High or low level inputs to dsp?

Street Glide with GTS radio, I have an Axxess loc that I can use to hook up my Dayton dsp but I see where some use the high level speaker outputs to hook to the dsp. Is there an advantage in using one over the other? Also I have the TechnoResearch flash tool on order. I plan to do the 8/2 flash..

I've noticed less floor noise with high level input for Dayton.

I would always try to minimize the opportunity to introduce noise into the signal path. One of the best ways to do that is to reduce/eliminate unnecessary components. If the DSP or amp takes hi/speaker level inputs I'd always start there first and only add a LoC if I needed to (typically where the HU is amplified and overdrives the hi level input on the downstream device). Also, in a properly operating environment it should be very difficult (impossible?) to hear an audible difference between an amp with high or low level inputs (and a moving motorcycle just makes it that much harder to tell the difference).

When using the Dayton DSP I would suggest using the high level input plus you eliminate extra connections that may give you issues.

I have found when using a LOC and the RCA input it tends to have a ground loop noise with the Dayton.
