Well if you're on a really tight budget, just put a set of Kappas up front and run them till you're ready to take the plunge. They should sound better than stock.

If you wired both, left and right, together in parallel, yes, it would. If you wired lower and upper speakers in parallel (if you have lowers), then no it wouldn't.

I would seriously consider pausing a moment and budget a bit more money for a much better bang for your buck.

An SD 800.4 amp, or a stinger(will retain FM) and pair of mmats cx and a pair of mmats 690cx 6x9's would be a way better set up for not a lot more money. Just my thoughts. That way you're not wanting to replace stuff 3 months down the road cause they're not loud enough.
