Default Thank You

Just wanted to thank SBates08 for helping me through this dsr1. Now that I think I have it figured out, its really not that hard at all. Messaged him yesterday and he was quick with helping me out.

Those who dont use a dsp (I WAS one) and think they arent a good investment, they really are. You can dial in the exact range of frequencies you want going to each speaker. They play to their full potential now and very clean.

Now Im waiting on my SBD grill spacers for my SV200L’s because they hit much harder and need about 1/4” more space between the grill and speakers.

You are most welcome. What frequency range did you wind up at on the 200L's?

I went 50-1200 but im still toying with it. Will need a bigger amp for sure. 800.4 bridged isn’t enough for these. Might need to look for a 1200 evox. My other forum friend recommended 2 800.1 if I have the room

Search around for a 1200.1 if you can find it. Plenty of meat for those but I wouldn't get too greedy with em. 500 is a solid place to be with them but I'd also lower the LP a bit to get some of the vocals out.

Once I get more power Ill mess with it more. Only getting around 400w to them right now and you can tell its not enough

A 1200.2 Evox2 would work as well. 2 ohm version.

He'd need the 4ohm version to bridge each side. The 200L are 4ohm.

Bridge, parallel. 1200w x 1 at 2ohm

Thanks. For now Im good. Had the dsp set to speaker input instead of rca, made a world of difference. Took a minute to find the error but once I did, I felt like an idiot. Easy to quickly go through the setup and make a mistake but easy to go back and change.

You're correct. I had 1200.4 on the brain.
