How well them yellow baskets fit in a SG fairing?

What year?
2013 and down need 6.5" speaker adapters.
2014 up require the speaker pods to be modified.

I have the adapters already bit I was concerned with the mounting depth. Its an 07

They will fit fine. I use the Metra 82-9601 adapters.

Like Sbates mentioned, they will fit fine in the 07.
The Metra 82-9601 brackets are the only one I use these days. They have a little bigger OD than some of the others out there.

That and they give you 3 different mounting holes to choose from.

Update:

Been super happy with the GZ's down below. I know a few have recommended they don't go down below, but the reflex from the speakers in those pods is glamorous to my ears. I have attached a short clip...if you have ear pods you can really hear them thump. I notch up to full volume mid way...30v crossed @ 90hz.

lol...bite? I ain't trying to click bate...just sharing what can possibly help someone else.

You mean amp? 2 800.4's under the fairing...1 running the Mille's & Neo's...the other bridged to Yellow Baskets
