From the head unit the only adjustments can be made are bass and treble.
Stock boom radios have a horrible eq curve built into the software. The only way to curb it is to have the head unit flashed to a CVO or aftermarket flash.

You must have been drinking when you interpreted my post.
It says you'll only have bass and treble adjustments and a CVO or aftermarket flash will rid the horrible factory eq curve. CVO flash would be HD 8speaker/2amp flash. Same flash you recommended.
