I give my GZ coax 225 watts, and they are still not loud enough for me.
I am glad I didnt go with those then, the mmats are definitely loud and I feel like everyone compares the two often..

Mmats are louder with less power.
GZ's hit lower with more power

I have a very boring audio combination by todays standards in this section of the forum but I feel like for the money, the MMATS and the Stinger are money well spent. Good to know on the GZ's.

I love Mmats coax speakers. One of my favorites out there. Not boring at all. And last a hell of a lot longer than GZ's
Stinger amps, meh.

Haha, I like more than one amp company. Just used a NVX 2 channel the other day and really liked it. Have used JL Audio on builds as well, and those are nice nice amps too. Guess it comes down to budget and fitment into the end goal.

One of my favorite 2 speaker/1 amp combos is Mmats and a JL MX280/4. Great sound, not too expensive and totally reliable.

Sounds like the consensus is YES. Trying not to de-rail your thread btw...

After that, you get to pick an amp. I gave my thoughts on the Stinger 700/4, maybe some other recommendations on a good 4 channel with 4 mmats will help your decision..

I knew it would go in this direction but, it's all good information.

So, if I wanted to keep the GZ's I'd need more power. What is meant when it is said, the GZ's "hit lower with more power"?
At that point, can more power go to the GZ's but be able to back it off some for the MMATS in the TP? Do I have that control?

They require more power than the MMAts and are a little warmer speaker..

Yes you will set gains on each set accordingly.

I heard this system in Sturgis and it was pretty good.
