Default Photos of SoundStream

Hi all. I want to upgrade my Sony 7000 to the Sound Reserve HDHU14. Anyone have a photo of the display in direct sunlight? Is it bright enough to see? My Sony is garbage in direct sun. Hoping this unit is better. Anyone think it sounds better too that has an amp hooked up? My Sony is direct connect (no amp) to RF speakers. It’s okay. Not great.

The SoundStream is as good if not better in direct sunlight as the HD GT and GTS.

really? Then I am impressed. I’ve seen the GTS in the sun before and it looks amazing. Thanks!

The HDHU14 is much better than the Sony 7000 both sound and display quality. I'm glad I switched, another added bonus is you don't have to worry about getting caught in a rain storm while out riding.

amen to that. I made a cover for it if I get caught in the rain. Total pain. Ready to ditch it. Which speakers did you go to? Looking at the infinity’s from Volunteer.

the display of the Soundstream is damn good! bright sun is not a problem, leaps and bounds better than the Sony, and I had the Sony before the Soundstream, so I experience with both

Not using an amp today. When I get the SoundStream I will. Cover is for display of the Sony 7000. I also made a clear vinyl wrap for the top of radio before I installed it. Zero protection. I just hated the GT radio that much.

You should consider using an amp regardless of HU.
