Default Mico 2v2 output voltage

Sorry guys I hate to start a thread on a simple question. . I asked this in one of my other threads and asked diamond audio and haven't heard anything from them. I have time to do all the work this weekend. Can someone tell me the voltage # i need to tune the amp with a MM

It's got nothing to do with the amp. The speakers are what determines the voltage setting.

Nothing that i read says anything about speakers neither did the jl audio sticky

Based on the math I get this
150w at 4ohm is 600
Square root of 600 is 24.49

And there is your voltage! Set it at about 3/4 volume with either a -5db 1k tone or a 0db 1k tone. I personally use a -5db tone.

Ive had a 1k tone on my flash drive for years from when i did it by ear. I'll give it a shot this weekend
All my years on here and I've never seen or noticed the math or i woildnthave started this thread lol

What ever is lowest rms. If the speakers are lower then 150 watts, do your math using the speakers wattage.

There's a sticky here that explains all that and more. There's even a chart for those that dont/cant do the math.

Also, there is free android and apple apps like ohm's law calculator and such. Enter your speaker ohms and desired watts and it will give you your target volts.
