Hey Guys
Looking for some insight on a lower fairing speaker pod that will fit my 19 Ultra Limited dual cooled
I know Hogtunes sells a set but they're pretty expensive.
Are there any other options out there ?

Metra have these (I've also seen these under other brand names like Saddle Tramp on eBay). Soundz used to sell the old style ones that Hogtunes used to have but I haven't seen them in a while.

Can't speak to the quality of the other guys but I sure like my Hogtunes pods.

 

I have the Metra adapters, they work and fit just fine.

 

where did you find yours ?

 

to me the Metra look 1/2 way between the old-style Hogtunes and new-style. If OP is going to paint them to match it might be worth the savings. I liked the slightly more refined contour and gloss black finish on the newer style (pretty close match to my Vivid Black lowers) so it was worth spending the extra.

I opted not to paint my Metras, as the factory lower was not painted originally.

The pic above looks more like the old Soundz adapter. I hated those. Back then and when I got the Metras, Hogtunes only sold theirs with the speakers.

the ones in my last pic are, as you mention, the old style Hogtunes that were also sold by Soundz (or maybe it was the other way around)
