Default Inherited dads 2020 Road glide special

Hello all! I have a couple questions about audio advice. I just inherited my dad RG and the hundreds of other HD parts he had. There were a couple things he bought for the RG and never got around to doing before he passed and I want to make his bike the way he dreamed of it being but not sure what to do. He wanted to upgrade the radio on it which has the stage 2 on it as of now. I have (not installed) deck kids and Polk DB series 5x7’s, a set of 6.5” to replace the fairing speakers and also have a biketronics 2180 amp.

That being said, should I pull the Boom amp and speakers out it and replace with the BT2180 amp and new fairing speakers and leave it there? Or. Should I add the new 6.5’s with the boom amp and put the deck speakers on the BT2180? Or better yet, make sure I have all 4 ohm speakers and run both front speakers and install the deck speakers and run just the BT2180 on everything?

i know I won’t get much sound out of the lid speakers at highway speeds but just want to make the bike the way he wanted it so considering putting them in just need to know what setup would be best?

thanks in advance!

5x7 lid speakers would not be the best choice, but if you want to run them because your dad bought them I understand that. The other parts wouldnt be my choice either. There are way better amps and speakers for the money that would sound great.

Keep the radio. The new GTS is a great radio and keeps all your thumb control functionality.

Are you married to the equipment you have, or would you consider getting something better and selling this stuff?

Sorry for your loss.

Enjoy the bike no matter what system it has installed on on.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Lost my father and father in law last month a couple weeks apart.

Enjoy the bike. Im sure anything you do to it, he would accept, or he wouldn’t have left it for you.

Sorry to learn about your loss.

The bike is pretty much set - however, if you want to add a few things, please do. Just enjoy the ride and remember your dad.
