Rockford Fosgate and others require you to purchase their speakers when you order their lid kit and I think it runs around $520 for the kit w/speakers. I saw a recent video by Carlos Ramirez on YouTube where he talks about a standalone kit w/templates and it only costs $285 from 702Motoring out of Las Vegas. Not a bad option for those who want the kit only and are looking to use another brand of 6x9's.

There’s also a boss kit you can find for about 300 too. Not sure on the quality of either of them though.

 

I just paid $280 for the Boss kit (with speakers). I don't intend to use the speakers but still, the Boss kit is less and you can sell the speakers for $25.

 

For the price they get for a lid kit, Advanblack has bag lids painted the color of your bike, cut out for 6x9 with speaker grills for 369.00

Their lids aren't close to the quality of a HD lid. Not nearly as stiff and the 6x9 speaker hole is on the small side. Even the lid straps are crappy and the lid doesn't open as far as OEM. Based on that I bought the boss kit for 260 and sold the speakers on eBay for 60 bucks. No regrets!
