Default 2 Stinger amps

Does anyone know if 2 Stinger SPX700X4 will fit in a Rushmore batwing?

Im sure its possible. Might have to get creative. Maybe an amp tray will help.

I have one tray now. Biketronics maybe? I was thinking 2 could fit side by side like I’ve seen with some of the other amp set ups. I’d hate to order it and send it back if it won’t work.

The amp rack with the lower plate would definitely let them fit. https://garagebaggerstereo.com/colle...and-up-batwing

The way I read it, the bottom plate is for if you are running a Sony? I have the GTS head unit, so I don’t think the bottom plate would work?

Although, looking at the dimensions, it looks like the 2 may just clear.

I would be concerned about the wiring. It is going to be very tight. They give the chassis size but dont include the power ground block.

Agreed. The wiring comes out on the long sides of those amps. But, I’m thinking if the non wire side of each is butter up against each other it might work. I have a flat piece of quarter inch aluminum in the garage that I can play with. And I suppose cut a couple pieces of wood amp size and play with it before before buying everything. I have a DSR1 tucked on the left side near the speaker in the BT bracket, so that shouldn’t be an issue.

I guess if you lay one upside down to put the incoming wiring near the fairing. What are you powering that needs 8 channels?

I only have 4 speakers. One stinger 700 now. Was thinking I’d get a second so I could bridge them both. It’s not a pressing issue per say. If I can add a second easily enough, then I’d go that route. Otherwise will sell it to get an angrier 4 channel. 🤷🏻‍♂️
