I had Mmats 6x9 in the rear lids of my last bike and liked them. The RF's are fairly new, so don't want to to ditch them just yet. I'm not looking to send 300 wats a channel to each speaker, but I feel I might be leaving a bit on the table currently. Usually only get around maybe 19-20 volts AC before it looks fuzzy to me on the scope.

I am sending about 250 to the GZ's and they get bright at low speeds but on the hiway they are great. I need to get a DSP and get a handle on the high's.

DSP I have. Originally I was running the stinger bridged to just the GZ’s at about 225 or so, and yeah they can be loud. Hence why I’m thinking a second amp bridged for all 4 might net me a bit more.

You really dont need to send them more watts. The more watts, the higher you need to set your HPF. Where do you have it set now?

I didnt know a thing about them either. Still dont know much, but have had lots of help from guys here. After you grasp the basics, basic tuning isnt that hard. Basic setup, which is setting gains and LPF/HPF are pretty simple. To me the hard part is when you get into setting the EQ bands. But thats a whole new level lol
