Default PA 601CX in Batwing fairing

Has anyone installed the Mmats PA-601CX in their 2015 or newer Batwing fairing (2015 Ultra Low). I need to replace the Infinity Kappas currently installed, but before I go out and commit $$$, I'd like to know if they'll either:

a. Fit in the pod or
b. Way to mount them without the pod

Thanks so much in advance brethren!!

A) Yes they will fit the pod.
B) Biketronics makes a pod eliminator bracket. But I suggest running them in the pods. IMO, they sound better in pods.

Installed them in a 2018, fit in the pods with no modifications needed.

Currently I have them in my 2015 SGS ( fairing). I have the biketronics brackets so I can’t speak to pod fitment. They get loud quick, don’t need a ton of power. A DSP helps getting some of the harshness out, but not necessary if you not planning on one. They don’t play that low either maybe 90- 100hz if your careful. Solid speaker though, I like them.

I have them in my FLHTK, mounted in Biketronics brackets. They are being pushed by a stinger amp and do run loud 'bright' as they say. I can attest to being loud at 75+++.
