Hello everyone, I just got my brand new RG Special Thailand build (MLY1KTPXXXXXXXXX)
i have a little problem with the audio, here's the detail (sorry can't upload a video)
When i mute my radio(FM) suddenly its turn on by itself. And when i try to shutdown the radio it's keep on, it only can be lowered the volume until mute, but i cant turn the radio off.
Even when i shutdown the motorcycle the radio indeed turn off but when i turn it on again the radio is already on. Since it's creep me out i just turn off the bike for a while to grab something to drink, and when i back and turn it on again it's back to normal.......
since it's weekend i can't contact my local dealership.
Does anyone in here have a clue?

 

Is your phone bluetooth connected to your radio? I have found that when I'm bluetoothed the phone will keep the radio energized and connected at times. Especially when a call is in progress.

 

From your description it sounds like you are briefly pressing POWER/MUTE. To Power Off, a press, and 3 second hold is required.

yes, ive hold it for 3 second and when the display is off the radio still playing but I can't adjust the volume eventhough the radio is still playing
It's creep me out, because when i bought the dealers already update the boombox to the latest software. Is it can be flash or replace the module?

 

Have you tried reloading the firmware?

 

As stated, I would probably try loading the latest software update from HD website through the usb port. Or might even try a reset. If you look to Biketronics website they have instructions on how to perform that reset.

As an aside.....some music just NEEDS to be heard I guess!!🤣🤣
