Default Head unit flash

Many have helped me along the way setting up my SD 800.4 and gz. For now I'm just going to run the two speakers in the fairing. Sometime down the road I'll do speakers in the lids.
I came across a good deal on a Dayton 408 dsp, I know it's not nessasary for a 2 speaker setup,
My question is I had my hu flashed with the RF flash. Does it matter which flash is being used, when installing a dsp?

I believe that is the flash you want to flatten the EQ curve with high-level outputs (no amps) from the HU and will work well with your DSP. I don't believe that flash supports rear fade but you may not care about that (many here don't).

Do you have fade ability in your HU now? If so, they gave you the 4-chanel RF flash already.

With the RF flash, it doesn't have a fader. I went to the hd to have them flash my HU with the RF, system sounded good and it did have the fader control. When I got home I checked the bin file and it wasn't the RF but the Ultra flash.
I found a audio shop in my area, had them flash the hu. They told me that it had the Ultra flash downloaded, which is what they have sean when the RF flash fails to download. I guess it's a default thing. The system is loud and clear as it is

That means they flashed it with a 2-channel flash. My RF Flash is a 4-channel flash which enabled the fade for my lids.
