DAY NINE:

Thought I was done with the front end, So I went to put faring on just to check fitment one last time, and it didn't fit. My intent was to keep all the OEM wiring and connections in place, but I may have to cut some of them out to make room.

I am not sure how you guys are putting more than two amps and a DSP in these street glides. And from what I hear the Road Glides have even less room. I have looked for photos, but most focus on the goodies and not the wiring beyond.

I spent some time troubleshooting and seeing where to conflicts were, and i think I see where I got issues, now I got to figure out how to reroute it all.

RGs has more room I think. I've seen 4 or 5 amps in a friend's RG fairing.

That was my fear on my 21 SG with the speaker pods, why i went the 2400 route......didn't want to completely re engineer a new bike at the moment. Post what you end up doing for us

The 2400 is the same size as a pair of 800's., maybe a little less wire running at the amp. I have plenty of room on the amp rack. It's below that that I am having issues. I don't really have a better spot for the DSP either. I am thinking I just need to cut off all the OEM speaker wiring that is not needed, and the extra pieces from the AHB T-Harness I am using.

Yep, the extra wiring is where I was at. The amp just did fit the stock tray with the wiring running left to right, I raised the amp up about a 1/4 inch, the two corners just clear the fairing, and stuck the DSR1 in the clutch side cubby. The Metra harness takes up some room also

I have a 1200 and 800 under my 2020 SG fairing. DSP is tucked into the cubby where a CB would go however. Is the DSP hitting the headlight?

I mean it could always get Louie to handle it for you, probably only run around 5100 bucks.

Or maybe Rich could do it for a discount at 2660…….

But the amp rack is badass……

No. Its all the cabling running in leaving the amp and all the stock wiring. It is hitting the fairing at the top of the headlight.

No clue who either of those people are, but thanks for compliment on rack.
