Default 6 speaker CVO plan

After learning that I can't just replace the junk Chinese Boom 2 speakers that are blown in my '18 CVO Street Glide, I'm putting it in your capable hands to square me away on my plan. I'm looking for good sound, but not worried about winning competitions, just hearing it well at speed. That being said, it seems like it only costs a few more bucks to do a decent upgrade. I've already decided against a boxed set and should easily save money. Less than $1500 is the target.

As I said, I have an '18 CVO and it does have lowers, so 6 speakers.

My plan:
Stock HU
4 x GZCF in lowers
2 x mmats pa690.4cx in lids
800.4 Evox for mmats
1200.4 for GZCF's
RF DSR1

Honestly, I've already started buying. I have the Ground Zero's and the 800.4 Evox, so any suggestions should include me using those. Yeah, yeah, I should have asked first, but the price was right, so I jumped on them.

I'm new at this stereo stuff, so getting into the weeds at this point won't serve me. I'll research how to assemble and tune after you set me straight on the components needed. I do my own wrenching and installing and will sort out the steps as I go, and by the end, I'll understand half of the conversations in this part of the forum...

First question - DSR, or not, after flash?
Second question - Which flash for 6 speakers and fade?
More to come... Appreciate you guys and don't know how we survived before the interwebs.

Good list. For the money, I might look at a 2400 instead of the 800 and the 1200. I ran that setup for a while, then switched the lids to Hertz. As far as flash, I use the 8/2 since using the DSR. The RF will have the fade, if that is important to you....

You'll also need to have the hu flashed regardless of running a dsp or not. You need that eq curve as flat as possible.

Pretty sure that bike has the 8/2 flash from the factory. Would have to check Bin file to be certain. 135_off.bin is the 8/2.

Advantage, other than one unit stuffed in the fairing as opposed to two?

Space, wiring, cost, may have more options with power. The down side cold be if it goes out vs having two systems

Is this the plug to bypass the rear speaker amps, and wouldn't I need two?
