Default Lids, lids, lids? 8" GZ Coax? Mids and horns?

Need speaker lids for my latest bike! 2012 Ultra Limited.

8" Coax or mids and horns?

WIll the 8" GZ coax get it done, or are there better options?
Looking for best of both worlds, volume and mid-bass.
It is strictly a highway bike.
Current system plan:
2400.4 - 4 ohm800.4 - 4 ohmDSP - DD DSI-2 or Dayton
GZ coax in fairing off 800.4 bridgedGZ coax in lowers off 2400 channel 1
Hertz SX 165 neo tour pack off 2400 channel 2
NVX Vadm 4 if needed for horns.

Lids???? 2400.4 - 4 ohm off 3/4 stereo or bridged.
I've had JL Audio 8.8" and DB Moto WDX8's in the past.
JL great thump, lacks highway volume.
DB Moto WDX8's has better volume, but lacks thump.

Anything out there that has the best of both worlds?
Does the 8" GZ Coax do the trick, or the Hertz 200L and a horn?
Faital 8FE200 8 ohm looks good on specs for a mid-range/horn combo.

I haven't heard too much about the 8" GZ's. They are on my radar for my next round of upgrades, but was hoping to get some real world feedback first.

I'll be curious to hear how it turns out. That is currently the direction I am leaning. At the moment.
I had the JLs on my 05 Ultra, and was getting ready to add the DB Moto to a tour pack lid to compliment the JLs and add some volume, but I stumbled on a good deal on the 12 Ultra, so upgraded the bike instead.

I actually drove the 200 miles to pick up a 2013 Roadglide. While I was waiting for the guy to return my call, I stumbled on the 2012 Ultra, another 100 miles away online. Bought the Roadglide, and the Ultra with plans on flipping the Ultra, but I ended up keeping the Ultra instead.

Well did did the lid swap on the JL's with the GZCF 8.0SPL. The GZ's sounded really good for what we did, as far as time to tune and watts. The bike was wired to send 300 to the JL's. The GZ's sounded really nice and had a ton of bottom end, and were very clear. On the other hand, they were not quite as good as the JL's on the lower end, but a little more volume on our test. Also, the GZ's are just under 8 inches and the JL's are over 8. Been raining here, so he has not really given them a real test on the road yet

Well that sounds good so far. Hard to beat the JLs for thump in the lids, hanging around the parking lot.
As for the highway, they definitely fall short, at least mine did.
The DB Moto WDX8's definitely give me more highway volume. I haven't pushed them that hard yet.
The good thing about the the DB Moto WDX8's, is they come with a mounting ring for the grill that drops right into the 8.8" lid. Made the swap pretty easy.
I do have a set of 8" lids as well, so either way, I should be able to get the GZ coax to fit.
