Rob, I got them from a friend and I do know that yooper made them. I did have to take the lip out a bit so the latch would work. I have no idea that you were involved with them. I did talk to yooper after I first got them and I believed I sent him pics of what I had to do to them.

Good to know Dale as I had no idea about them. All I knew was you were developing them and I ended up with them to try. I like the fact that they are in the rear of my bags that will give me a tad more room in the bag. Now that I know as Paul Harvey states "the rest of the story" I will tell others just where to get them.
Lately I've been using wood dowels wrapped in vinyl, and screwed in from behind the latch and to the ring, but could be attached to the inside of the bag for a rear mount speaker.
perfect setup. That alot of guys should really look at.
