dude I fully get wanting/needing to do things on a certain budget. Folks are just better off doing it right once vs looking for short cuts that leave them wanting more.
I have to agree with this statement. We've all taken short cuts over the years and 99% of the time wind up disappointed with the outcome.

I have JL M880 in my lids and 1” tweeters. Although they do sound good and get a lot of looks, i hate them. Every time i have to get in the bag, i hate them more. I will be going a different route myself over the winter. Not sure what yet

Was going to go w 8 inch lids but just don't like the look myself. What's the issue with getting into the bag? The weight of the 8 lid?

Pound for pound one of the best rider bike speakers available. Waterproof, able to hear them always, will play down to 50hz with 250watts.

Although I may be biased, I run 2 sets currently.

So what or who makes a quality bag?

id say if you want a quality bag and do NOT want the big extended bag look, Top Shop has you covered. Or now i think about it dirtybird concepts even has a new audio bag thats not a real big stretched bag.

Without a doubt and that pound is more like 10. Lol. I wont be changing the speaker. I run JL in every system I have. But having them in the lids, PITA.
