Wiring new speakers

Wiring new speakers
I don't know anything about wiring sound systems, so this may sound like a stupid question to some of you.
I have purchased new speakers and they are coaxial. The existing speakers are component, so there are 4 wires, 2 for the driver and 2 for the tweeter. My new speakers only have 3 attachment points. Currently, the wires come out of the amp as 2 wires and they split in to 4 wires before going to the speakers
How do I wire this?
Second question. Should I install inline crossovers?

This is how the wires are coming out of the amp . Is the shrink-wrapped one the "crossover box"?
Also, I don't really understand why there are three connection terminals. There's no marking to tell what is what, and the speakers came with no paperwork explaining it. Is the yellow thing on the speaker a built in crossover? How am I supposed to know what connects to what?

If you want to keep all of those quick connects and rubber grommets, cut this section out of the current harness, and solder or butt connect the 2 sections back together. The large spade on the new speaker is your positive connection and the 2 small connections are ground. You only need to hook to one of the grounds and it doesn't matter which one.
