Default wiring antenna for detachable tour pak

Ok,
Here is my project.
I am installing a detachable tour-pak on my 2004 Glide classic.
I want to make it so I can connect and disconnect the antenna to the tour pack easily. Thinking of just doing a Y junction in the antenna coaxial cable. so I can unhook the lower antenna and connect up the tour pak in it's place.

Any ideas on how to do this? Pictures would be great.
Thanks

Or I may just install an amplified stuffy in the current location and call it done.
Thoughts on that?

Usually the antenna gets relocated so the TP can go on and off without messing with it. Here's a bracket - https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

I don't use the radio much, so I use a hidden antenna in the fairing. Reception is not as good as the whip antenna, but fine with strong stations - https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

I have a 2009 Ultra Classic.

As was mentioned in a previous post... some install the antenna under the seat. When I added the detach kit, I also picked up the hidden "in the fairing" antenna. I installed a splitter in the fairing... so, when the tour pack is on, I have two antennas and only the hidden one when it's removed. It works pretty good... but does loose some weaker stations without the longer whip.

I listen to an iPod through the AUX port mostly.

Ride Safely!
John.
