FOSGATE PMX-HD9813 or AQUATIC AV AQ-MP-5UBT-HS
Updating my 2013 CVO RG system.
The plan is to upgrade the faring speakers, tweeters & add lowers and upgrade the speakers in the bags. At the moment I want to make sure I get the head unit that will support the end goal.
At the moment I am leaning towards Diamond audio or Beyma for all the speakers.
Thanks in advance.

I would stay away from Aquatic, not very reliable. If you don’t ride a lot on the rain, I would go with a Sony or Kenwood marine unit. Fathead Cycles makes a nice Sony play n play kit (I’ve used a number of times) for half the price of Rockford.
As far as the rest of your system, research and plan it out. Don’t get stuck on having all the same brand of speakers.

Take the Rockford all day long!! Much better than the aquatic junk. I've had one in for a few weeks now, it replaced a Kenwood 998, and the price is the only complaint. Very adjustable and very good SQ. Check out all the build spec for water and vibration ratings, nothing else on the market even comes close and it's pkig and play.
