Is this speaker damaged
Got these used. I didn't notice the depressions in the tweeter. Is this damage that affects the speakers performance or is it not a problem?

These are stock Special speakers? Meaning out of a road glide ot street glide special.

They are not damaged. It's just a very flimsy domed cover over the tweeter.

Yeah I was gonna say my stocks do this as well. Paper thin cones.

Could the cone be torn and the speaker still be ok?

I've had very good luck just using a piece of scotch tape to pull the dents. It happens. I wouldn't recomend a strong adhesive tape like duct tape, something light that doesn't leave residue.
