Default Next step lowers - speakers for my combo

Greetings -
Currently I'm running a fairing only set-up on my '17 Street Glide.
I have as Sony AX5000 HU and a Stinger SPX700X4 amp that is bridged driving a set of Arc Moto 602 speakers. I like the system, it gets loud and has good sound, but like others I want even more volume especially at cruising speeds.

I'm guess my next step is to get lower fairings and a set of 6.5" speakers. I have a NVX VADM4 amp on the way that I can use bridged to drive the lowers. At this point, I have no plans to put any speakers in the bags. I don't want to give up the space so I'm not looking at future expansion.

My music is primarily rock, alternative, blues.

I've seen PRV, DB Moto, and Mmats referenced often as good lower speakers. Which ones would play nice with my Arc Motos? If it makes sense I could drive the uppers with the NVX and the lowers with the Stinger bridged at 350 watts for volume.

Thanks in advance!

A speaker not mentioned much but, it makes a great 6.5 lowers speaker. Faital 6FE200.

Great speaker for that location. It will require a DSP to bandpass it in it's wheel house.

Agreed, And they're cheap and sound good.

I've got Hertz SV 165.1's in my lowers. They sound great to my ears with plenty of SPL (at higher levels they actually tend to overpower my upper fairing speakers). I'd seen them discussed on a few other threads for use in lowers and thought I'd go that route and I'm happy with the result.

I like the price on the Faital speakers, I don't have a DSP so the price on those would help me swing a DSP. Any reason not to get a Dayton 408?

The Hertz look like they take more power so could feed them with the Stinger amp and run the Arc Motos with the NVX at 200 per side?

Those Faitals will take 250 watts with no problem.

If you are using that amp go with the 4 ohm and run each speaker bridged. Those amps get warm though!
