Well everyone's definition of bass carries. What kind of music do you listen to? Diamond makes a sub coax in 6x9. You do understand a lot of bass at hiway speed gets washed out.

My playlist is very vast, depending on my mood, I could be listening to anything from Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Country, Rock and anything in between, I enjoy good music. I have out grown what I have now and want to take it to another level. I appreciate the advice.

Just a quick thought, would you be interested in lowers vs tour pack pods. You get better volume at highway speeds. Plus you don't end up spending a lot of money on speakers and tour pack pods that might not be on the bike all of the time. At least if you go with lowers they will always be on the bike. Your best bang for your audio buck is usually from fairing and lowers.
Gotta agree with F-Jack with the separate amp on the Speaker lids. The Vadm4 is a great little amp.

I haven't dabbled much in 6x9's but I hear good things about the Mmats, DA coax subs, and the GZ 7x10" speakers these days.

Lowers not an option for me. In Louisiana it gets unbearably hot in the summer. That extra airflow makes a difference for me.

Wasn't sure where you were located. I'm in Canada, but I've toured some 100* days in the US and I could see a guy not wanting to add lowers.
That brings you back to Fireball Jack's recommendation of the June's Upholstery tour pack pods and the Mmats PA601.4cx. The Mmats work great in the tour pack. That's what I'm using.

Will the Mmats 601.4cx fit in the biketronics brackets? Where can you purchase the Mmats speakers with the water treatment, their site says not available until September?

Try audio advantage in SC for the mmats 601 and 690s.
