And in my opinion, you need at least 100 watts per channel, depending on what speakers you are using.
100 watts minimum, and the sky's the limit from there.
Those Stingers at a 125 x 4 are a great choice for the average guy running coax.

So I made a bad choice and went with a local installer for audio upgrades. Im a hands on guy. I usually do all of my own work. Just did cams a few months ago. I was busy and figured I'd hand it over to a recommended shop. They installed a leveler, JL amp that they bridged, and Memphis speakers. The sound was loud and clear but just not "warm" and "dynamic". I took recommendations on MMATS speakers and all I can say is that they are fantastic. Its got the sound I expected and I'm very happy. I highly recommend them to anyone considering them!

As for an amp, I would recommend the good old stand by, the Stinger SPX 700. Great amp at bargain prices if you can find it on sale.
