how do you get the speaker out on the lowers i removed the torx screws but did not want break anything? do i need a spacer or something to get 6.5s in the lowers?

 

2012;s Didnt come with speakers, so they were added. There id no way for us to guess without at least pictures. Look for signs of some sealant.

 

hmmm i never noticed any but will have another look and try and get a pic.

 

got it figured out just had to pop them out. now where can i find an adaptor to get 6.5s in there

Fairing Factory speaker boxes are another option if you can get some shipped up there. The fit and finish isn't quite as good as OEM but you can make them work without too much fuss. That's what I used on my 2010 Ultra. Most 6.5s drop right in. With a little bit of shaping with a sanding wheel on a Dremel tool you can get just about any 6.5 in there.
