Default Speaker suggestions

I had a local guy put an amp, leveler and speakers in. Its loud and clear. I feel like the speakers are kind of flat. Not a dynamic sound. Any suggestions on better speakers? The ones he put in are Memphis. 14 SGS with stock boom radio/nav. Thanks!

I'm looking for the same advice. I've tried a few different setups and not happy with any of them. I'm tired of wasting money lol

First, just a simple upgrade to hogtunes with a stock head unit. Then a small amp , not happy with that so I put a bigger amp.
then I bought sinister sounds and it sounds horrible.
then bought a Kenwood head unit sounds better but still sucked lol. I added the j&m tweeter grills to help but still sounds like hot trash. I'd like to reuse the speaker pods for other speakers maybe but I'm tired of throwing money at it.

Hmm. Does an amp greatly effect the sound or is it mostly speakers?

It really depends on your speakers. I put a amp on the first set because the head unit didn't have enough to power them. It sounded alot better. Just didn't like the sound

I was supposed to get Rockford Fosgate speakers. The installer supposedly didn't like the fit so he gave me the Memphis speakers. They are good and loud I just feel like some of the music is muted.

Most speaker upgrades need an amp. The Popular set up for a bat wing is the Stinger SPX700X4 @ 175.00 and the Mmats 601.4cx. The RG is a bit more of a challenge the DB Drive WDX6Moto G2's seem to get good reviews.

I was going to try the mmats. They were out of stock. May give them a try.

Forgive me, this might be a stupid question but, If I get the stinger with mmats. How would I wire for 2 speakers? Bridged? Or normal
